Beyond Your Eyes

Vision care is about more than just how clearly you see. It’s an important factor of your overall health. That’s why it's important not to take vision for granted

Your eyes have the busiest muscles in the body. They move 3 times a second, more than 100,000 times every day.4

Transgender individuals may experience blind spots, double vision or even temporary blindness while undergoing gender affirming therapies.5

HIV can affect anyone and it can have effects on the eyes ranging from dry eye, blurred vision, spots, tumors and more.6,7

Your eyes actually only see three colors: red, green and blue. Your brain combines them so you can perceive a rainbow of over a million colors.8,9

Over 350 million people in the world are color blind, more than the entire U.S. population.10

And can you believe?

During the last season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, on average there were more Americans who tuned in to watch each episode than there were who saw an eye doctor for their annual exam.11,12

Our vision for Everyone is to see life to the fullest

Our eyes allow us to pick a favorite color, see the smiles of our loved ones and experience the beauty of life first-hand. At EyeMed, it’s our goal to help everyone see life to the fullest. It’s why we show up day in and day out to help enable everyone to take care of their eye health, so they can keep living boundlessly and in living color.
